MY BIOGRAPHY

BIRTH

I was born in the family of Alhaji Muhammad Nda (father) and Hajiya Maimuna (Mother) at Fegge Onitsha, Anambra State (South East Nigeria) but hail from Bida Local Government of Niger state.

EDUCATION

I went to St. John Anglican Model School where I did my primary school and got my First School Leaving Certificate.

Then I went to Our Lady High School Onitsha, but left as a result of conflict (detailed in one of my stories), where I went to Government Secondary School Nyanya Abuja (FCT) to complete my Secondary school education. I acquired my West African Examination Certification (WAEC) here before I secured admission into the famous Ahmadu Bello University Zaria (ABU).

In ABU Zaria, I was offered Physiology in the faculty of Medicine and Surgery where I keenly participated in the academics and non-academic/social activities (student politics).

After graduation (second class upper division), I went to serve in Gombe State for my National Youth Service Corps.

YOUNG HUSTLER

Growing up under my parents roof in an Igbo culture environment which is totally different from the Northern culture was not easy but was a memorable moment that have shaped my life till date.

My father married three (3) wives and gave birth to 15 children and I am the last born from my mother’s side. My dad was a fish farmer in Kogi State (Bassa) before migrating to Onitsha (Anambra State) prior to the Biafra War where he ventured into different services to make sure there is food on our table.

My Mother, my step mom (Hajiya Halima) and my sisters’ run a local restaurant at Bridge Head market (goat market) Fegge, Onitsha.

The little boys including myself and my brother Haruna (Liman) where not left behind. We sold sachet water in the street and markets (Ochanja and Bridge head), we did bricklaying, selling of soft drinks etc at tender age.

To assist our parents in reducing the burden of school expense, we began to sell and load scrap metals (Akpakara) from one market/dump to another within Fegge.
